Our new pool construction is done and we have been enjoying it already! In Texas the best way to beat the heat is in the water, so I am sharing what I bought to enhance our outdoor space and enjoy those pool days.

Towels

I wanted some unique towels for the pool, and couldn't be happier with these! They are extremely lightweight Turkish towels that are absorbent, but also dry quickly. I love all the fun colors and my kids enjoyed picking out their favorite. Best part - there was no fighting since these come in a set of 6 😋. They wash well and have the cutest fringe detailing.

We have a metal fence on one side of our yard so I bought these large S hooks to hang on the fence for our wet towels and swimsuits. Functional + saves space = win/win!

Outdoor Storage

Hanging by the pool means drinks and snacks so I wanted an outdoor trashcan that was heavy duty and weatherproof so we wouldn't have to keep going inside to throw trash away. This one has a locking lid to keep flies out and holds 30 gallon trash bags.

We needed somewhere to put floaties, sunscreen, bug spray, pool toys, etc. but I also wanted to be able to use it as additional seating space. This 90-gallon storage bench holds a TON, is weatherproof, and is super easy to put together.

Let's Lounge

When designing the pool, I knew I wanted an area for Adirondack chairs and an umbrella. This umbrella checked all the boxes with its light cream color, black trim, and wooden pole. I love the warmth it brings to the space while still being neutral.

We have some space behind the pool due to a utility easement, so to take advantage of the space I grabbed this cream hammock to relax in. It's HUGE and can easily fit 2 adults or an adult + kids. It's very easy to assemble and disassemble when not in use. It comes with a pillow and has fringe detail.

These chairs 😍. I pretty much planned everything around these chairs. They are weather-resistant and fold for storage if needed. I leave mine out 24/7 since they are durable, but I wanted the folding capability in case of a bad storm or hurricane (bc...Texas). I've gotten tons of compliments on these and they are so comfortable to relax in under the umbrella and read a book.

This coverup is so stylish and comfortable, but also breathable which is a MUST in the Texas heat.

Cheers!

Plastic glasses are an essential when it comes to being outside, and these were too fun to pass up. They not only float upright in the water, but you can take them to the beach and stick them in the sand.

I was gifted these plastic wine glasses (by a few people who know me well 🍷🤣) and they're perfect for having drinks on the patio.

What are your plans to beat the heat this Summer? Stay cool, friends!
